Walking in Aldbury
Aldbury and Tring Station is a beautiful neighbourhood to walk around. Situated in the Chilterns with access to Ashridge Estate, Ivinghoe Beacon, Pitstone Hill and Tring Park Nature Reserve.
This area boasts ancient woodland, wildlife, beautiful landscapes along with a beech wood forest known to be covered with bluebells in the Spring.
Cycling in Aldbury
The Chilterns is a popular destination for bikers and cyclists alike. Most make use of mountain biking routes through Ashridge and road routes through the village, often stopping at our very own cycle cafe, Musette, to fuel up.
A number of local residents are also keen cyclists often commuting to the railway station as well as neighbouring towns, Berkhamsted, Northchurch, Pitstone and Tring.
Public transport
The 387 Red Rose bus links Aldbury and Tring Station to Tring School, Tesco Superstore and central Tring.
Our local railway station, Tring Station, provides links to a number of towns and cities in the Midlands and South East including Milton Keynes, Watford Junction, London Euston.
Driving in Aldbury
We aim to keep the roads quiet and prioritise pedestrians. Traffic calming measures are set up to ensure this, please drive carefully through our residential areas, woodland and farmland.
There is public parking available throughout Aldbury village and Tring Station including outside The Greyhound near the village green, at the National Trust Ashridge Estate and at Tring railway station.
