Getting to Aldbury

Definitely best to arrive by train (Tring Station is a mile from the village centre)  or bus as parking is extremely limited. Visitors can spend more time trying to find parking than walking or sitting with a pint! Many of our elderly residents are finding it increasingly difficult to park near their homes.

If you do need to drive, please park at the station or at the Recreation Ground on Stocks Road. John's Taxis at the station are on 01442 828848. There is a lovely new car park at Church Farm if you are heading for a coffee at Musette. For visitors wanting to walk the Ashridge Estate, please head to the main car park or Tom's Hill car park

As a village, we are always looking to be more environmentally friendly. If you are visiting Aldbury, please be considerate of the environmental impact of your journey and explore more sustainable transport options such as walking, cycling or taking public transport.
