An Amazing Place to Grow Up

We have around 200 children living in the community, many of whom attend our local primary and nursery school. They enjoy a variety of facilities including a large recreation field, two playgrounds, donkeys to pet and lots of cycling and nature walks in the woods.

Aldbury Playground Refurbishment

The Aldbury Playground Working Group will be delivering a renewed playground in stages over 2-3 years. Improvements will include new grass mat & turfing, repairing the log world, as well as adding a new Wildwood play structure, accessible swing and picnic table.

New log timber posts have already been installed and the first Working Party is planned for Saturday 24th September when a group of volunteers will be replacing the black shredded rubber with new turf and safety matting. Contact Beth Cole at dr.ejcole@gmail.com to sign up and volunteer on the day.
