The new ‘Friends of Tring Station’ project is underway and needs a project leader to take the reins. A working party is already planned for Sunday October 2nd to help tidy and plant. This initiative is also aimed at improving facilities, biodiversity and communal spaces at the train station so a project leader needs to be interested in building up projects through fundraising and coordinating volunteers. There is a lot of opportunity in this role to be creative and, with the help of other local volunteers, you could be part of making a big impact at the train station. Plus, the successful candidate gets FREE PARKING at the station for 1 year! This project, with London Northwestern Railway, is supported by Tring Residents Association and convened by Aldbury Sustainability Club who are helping with volunteers and resources.
