Use the code SUGS008K to obtain a 50% discount on seeds and a 15% discount on anything else in 2023.

Please note that we are not members of the Suttons Gardening Club, so type the code in the Offer Code box when you check out. This discount is not available in conjunction with any other offer.  The discount code usually operates from October to October, so we will let you know when it is about to run out and issue you with the new one if you plan to remain a member in 2024.  

RHS Gardens Discount Card

AGC is affiliated to the RHS. As part of our membership the club has been given a discount card which entitles any member (plus 1 guest) to visit any RHS garden in 2023 with a 50% entry fee discount.  The card can be used as many times as we like across 2023 so hopefully many AGC members will be able to take advantage of this.

This card is available to you all but will need to be picked up the day before your planned visit and then returned immediately after to an address in the village. If you and a family member or a friend would like to take advantage of it, please email us at aldburygc@gmail.com  to reserve a date.  For this first year, we suggest that no member uses it more than twice in the year, but we’ll see how it goes.  

Woods

We have negotiated discounts on some products sold by Woods in Berkhamsted:

15% off propagation equipment (seed trays, thermometers, labels, cutting trays and peat pots) and 10% off tools (not including mowers and machinery). This discount will be honoured when your Aldbury Garden Club membership card is shown. This offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer, for example seasonal discounts, multibuys or if you use a loyalty card (see below).

Capital Gardens (Woods is a Capital Gardens store) operate a loyalty card scheme like those offered by many supermarkets. We recommend that as individuals you join this because if you are over 50 then you get a 10% discount every Wednesday, plus every so often they do a discounted weekend for card holders.

Plant Sales

As a member of AGC you can benefit from  a 10% discount on anything you buy at one of our plant sales, and, if you bring plants for us to sell, you may swap them for other plants up to a similar value, for free.

Spring and Summer Show Class Entries

These are free for members.

Events

We run a few events every year that are open only to members, their families and guests including an annual barbecue.  If we stage a talk in the Memorial Hall, tickets are discounted to members.
