Easter Egg Collection for Charity

After a 2 year absence because of covid we are again supporting Leighton Buzzard Scooter club by collecting easter eggs for the childrens ward at Stoke Mandeville hospital. The last time we did this was in 2019 when Aldbury residents donated 232 eggs!!

The guys and girls on their 1960s/70s scooters will be with us around midday on Saturday 9th April and plan to park up as usual around the Greyhound and collect from us, have a coffee and then off to a couple of other supporters en route to the hospital. Its a spectacle to be seen and always brings out a good many people from the village just to admire the vast array of mirrors and chrome!

If anybody can donate an egg or two it will be greatly received by the many children and indeed nurses who cannot be at home with their families this easter.

All eggs can be dropped off at the garage at anytime up till Friday 8th April and we will have a count up!!
